About Me

My name is Sarah Gilbert.  I am a highly experienced dyslexia assessor,

specialist tutor and neurodiversity coach with a history of supporting

young people and adults within colleges, universities and workplaces.

With more than 15 years’ experience supporting neurodivergent people (dyslexic, ADHD, autistic, dyspraxic, etc), I offer individualised support adapted to each person’s needs and preferences.  My approach is collaborative and creative, working closely with clients to identify strategies that genuinely fit their strengths and goals.  My aim is to empower people to build the self-awareness, skills and confidence they need to thrive in their studies, workplaces and lives.

I am registered as a qualified specialist tutor with the Professional Association of Specific Learning Difference Specialists in Higher Education (PASSHE) and you can find me on their quality assured tutor register: https://passhe.org.uk/user/sarah.gilbert/

As a fully qualified dyslexia assessor, I hold a current Assessment Practising Certificate (APC), allowing me to provide diagnostic reports that meet the requirements for Disabled Students’ Allowance (DSA) applications in higher education.  My registration can be verified through the SASC assessor directory: https://www.sasc.org.uk/find-an-assessor/

You are welcome to get in touch for a free initial conversation about the support you may be looking for.
